This ECLIPSE TAKUMI is an ideal universal airbrush for custom painting, body painting, model making, etc. The option to equip the airbrush with a larger nozzle allows for larger-area work, even with metallic automotive paints.
Compared to the IWATA ECLIPSE SBS, the new ECLIPSE TAKUMI has a shorter distance between the finger lever and the tip. This allows the Takumi to be used for detailed work at a closer distance to the object.
The two-part paint cup has the advantage that the new system improves paint flow. It also allows for more direct contact with the object when using the airbrush; by unscrewing the upper part, just a few drops of paint provide a better view of the object, especially when working on details.
Also new is the flat finger lever from the Micron series. The new crown cap also allows for a more direct approach to the object with the airbrush, while the air can escape to the side.
The new handle allows you to limit the amount of paint dispensed. The ECLIPSE TAKUMI can be used with both water-based and solvent-based paints.
